Internet Math Challenge
Question Of March:
A company runs two factories in the same town. Between the two
factories the company employs 225 workers.
- One week, 1/5 of the workforce at one of the factories
was transfered across town to the other factory.
- Then, the next week, 1/4 of the then-present workers at
one of the factories was transfered to the other factory.
- Finally, the week after that, 1/3 of the workers then
stationed at the Westside factory were transfered to the
Eastside factory.
- After this last transfer, the difference between the two
workforces was 21 workers.
How many workers were originally stationed at the Westside
factory?
